This $17 Million Arizona Estate Has a Garage With Room for 20 Vehicles

Arizona’s Camelback Mountain, the highest peak in the Phoenix metropolitan area, gets its name due to its striking silhouette of a kneeling dromedary. Views of the prominent natural landmark are highly prized by homeowners, but a 1.6-acre compound in the affluent enclave of Paradise Valley flips the focus to coveted car collections.

Newly built in 2025, the six-bedroom estate includes a nearly 5,000-square-foot climate-controlled garage that can accommodate over 20 vehicles. A guest casita, sports court, and swimming pool are other highlights. The property is co-listed with Jennifer Burgess and Siena Koppleman of RETSY for 17 million big ones.

“We’re seeing unprecedented demand from collectors and enthusiasts who want Arizona as their primary or secondary residence,” Burgess says in a statement. While the state’s climate poses some cons for vehicle maintenance, like faded paint and weakened batteries, this home with its massive garage, along with the state’s lower taxes and vehicle registration fees, are pros for collectors.

The six-bay auto garage, which will accommodate lifts for additional storage, does not yet have the polished finishes of fashion icon Ralph Lauren’s secret garage, but its airy design feels like a blank slate for a new owner to put their unique stamp on.  Tinker Development’s Erik Tinker shares, “Years ago, garages were glorified carports. Now, they’re luxury lounges with horsepower. Clients don’t just want a place to park, they want a gallery for their automotive art. About half fill them with cars, the other half fill them with golf simulators, whiskey bars, private gyms, cinemas, you name it.” There’s also a dedicated RV garage with a workshop and half bathroom.

The 9,220-square-foot contemporary mansion opens to a living room with a vaulted, exposed beam ceiling, a wood-burning fireplace crafted from marble, and a head-on view of Camelback Mountain. Smooth hardwood flooring leads over to the kitchen with a custom skylight, built-in oak shelving, and dual islands with stone countertops. Bifold doors open to a covered patio, in addition to the scenic-view pool, spa, and manicured lawn.

The owner’s wing is a retreat for rest and wellness. The bedroom’s wall of doors opens out to the pool for impromptu dips, and the bathroom is anchored by a striking marble-finished steam shower with two clerestory windows that allow natural light to stream in. A gym with a cold plunge and sauna is nearby.

Elsewhere are a game room that unfurls to the outdoor kitchen, plus a wine cellar and an office space that could serve as a fifth bedroom. A sports court and detached one-bedroom guest house round out the oversized Copper State lot.
