Luxury Cars That Give You Supercar Feels Without The Price Tag


Once upon a time, you had to choose between comfortable luxury and supercar thrills. That is not the case today, and we have plenty of models on the market that are both good for the everyday side of driving and letting rip on a twisty road on the weekend. The problem is that if you are looking for supercar thrills with all the luxury trimmings and style, you can be looking at a serious price tag. Take the 2026 Bentley Continental GT; the base price is around $300,000, but you do get immense amounts of luxe prowess and a 617-horsepower bi-turbo hybrid V8 as standard.

However, we know $300,000 is not a reasonable figure for a lot of drivers. That doesn’t mean you have to go without, though. The luxury car market currently offers several very prestigious, plush models that are also very powerful, very fast, and, maybe most importantly, for those of you looking for a reasonably priced blend of comfort and on-road chops, not as expensive as supercars.

2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing

Boasting a starting price just shy of $100,000, a remarkably muscular stance, and a hand-built supercharged V8, the 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is a lot of bang for your buck. At the center of everything is a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 that can shift out 668 horsepower and 658 pound-feet of torque. The power is sent through a six-speed manual as standard, or you can opt for a ten-speed auto to the rear wheels. What you have here is a reasonably priced muscle car/family car that can hit 60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds and tops out at over 200 mph; it is a beast.

The CT5-V Blackwing feels like the ultimate mid-2000s luxury sedan, built in 2024 with modern technology and power. It’s everything car enthusiasts say they want from a performance sedan, and proof that Cadillac can still set the standard – and that improving on perfection is possible.

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing rides on Magnetic Ride Control 4.0; you get Brembo brakes; high-performance tires sit at each corner, and an electronic limited-slip differential tidies up traction off the line and through the corners. It also boasts four-wheel independent suspension, rear anti-roll bars, and Performance Traction Management with four driving modes: WET, DRY, SPORT, and RACE. So, you can drive confidently in the wet, or let it loose as a weekend warrior with terrifying results.

Then you have the luxurious side of the CT5-V Blackwing. Not only does Magnetic Ride Control provide a smooth ride when you want it, but the interior and the cabin are fully kitted out as a luxury sedan fit for everyday consumption. It boasts a huge 33-inch curved LED display; an AKG audio system offers crystal-clear sounds; Super Cruise hands-free driving makes it easy on the highway, Alcántara leather wraps the seats, and a carbon fiber trim reminds you that you are still in something very athletic.

Not to be outdone by some of its luxury Asian and German rivals, the CT5-V Blackwing is also reasonably convenient. The first thing you need to know about the 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid is that it is rapid. At the heart of the Model S Plaid is a tri-motor configuration: one at the front and two on the rear axle. Combined, they can pulse out 1,020 horsepower and 1,005 pound-feet of torque. While some of the models on this list give you supercar feels without the supercar price, the 2026 Model S Plaid offers actual supercar power and speed. The 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid top speed is 200 mph (if you opt for the Track Package, if not, top speed is 149 mph) and can get from standstill to 60 mph in 1.99 seconds (when using Launch Mode). Value-for-money, you are only paying just under $100 per horsepower, and you are getting nearly unmatched sprint times and top speeds for what you pay.

It is not all just mind-bending speed, though; the Tesla Model S Plaid is also kitted out with optional carbon ceramic brakes, an aggressive front fascia, a rear diffuser, front and rear spoilers, and optional aero caps to allow for uninterrupted air flow over the wheels. It is built for speed and sticking it around your favorite back road.

Inside, the Model S Plaid is as techy and kitchy as you’d now expect from the headline-making EV giant. You get a 17-inch tilting touchscreen, a 3D view of your Plaid on the driver cluster, wireless charging, a choice between a yoke or steering wheel, customizable ambient lighting, Alcantara touches, and a minimalist design around the cabin.

Legroom up front is very generous at 42.4 inches; rear legroom is reasonable at 35.5 inches, and you get a huge cargo capacity for a luxury electric sedan of 64.6 cubic feet with all the seats folded away. According to owner reviews on Kelley Blue Book, the 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid has received very agreeable feedback (we can see why), with 90 percent of owners recommending it, and the following specific ratings:

We see a potential future classic here. The 2026 Lexus LC 500 is going to be the last of this iconic Lexus sports car, so now would be the time to think about getting one. The interior is both athletic enough to remind you that you can punch it, and, in typical Lexus fashion, serene enough to spend a lot of time in. You get Takumi-class hand-stitched leather, heated and ventilated seats, satin metallic or carbon fiber trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and available Climate Concierge with upper-body heating, for when you’ve got the convertible’s roof down. Then you’ve got a 12.3-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an available 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio rig, and a sliding-mechanism driver cluster.

The real reason why we will miss the Lexus LC 500, though, is because of the naturally aspirated V8 under the hood. It is very rare to find one on the modern market, but Lexus nailed it with this one. The LC 500’s coveted 5.0-liter V8 can kick out 471 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque and redline at around 7,300 rpm. It is characterful, torquey, fun to floor, and one of the last of a generation. Power is sent through a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission to the rear wheels, and you can get to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds in the coupe and 4.6 seconds in the convertible.

The last LC 500 is also set up for the canyons. It rides on adaptive suspension; an active rear spoiler keeps you planted; a Torsen limited-slip diff shores up traction, and the raucous shout of the V8 through the active exhaust system and out of the quad tailpipes sounds great bouncing off cliff faces. If you think that an LC 500 doesn’t sound exclusive enough to give you supercar feels, Lexus is releasing 200 units of the LC 500 Inspiration Series Coupes and 350 LC 500 Inspiration Series Convertibles as a final send-off for this legend. We are going to presume that these models are going to be very collectible one day.

As the most powerful, most kitted-out, and fanciest variant of the 2026 Genesis G90 lineup, the e-SC Prestige Black offers intuitive and fun driving guts in equal measure. From the outside, you get a long, full-size luxury sedan that wouldn’t look out of place on the way to a meeting uptown, with blacked-out accents, 21-inch matte black wheels, a minimalist rear end, and an all-black G-Matrix crest grille. The inside is unbelievably plush and tech, boasting black aniline leather trim, open-pore wood trim, brass G-Matrix inlays, a Bang & Olufsen 3D rig, a surround-view monitor, heated and ventilated seats, and dual 12.3-inch touchscreens.

The 2026 Genesis G90 also allows for a lot of room for you and your passengers. Up front, you get 42.3 inches of legroom; your passengers get 37.8 inches of legroom in the back, and in typically useful Hyundai-luxury-arm style, you also get a decent maximum cargo capacity of 10.6 cubic feet. However, the sorely underrated G90 e-SC Prestige Black is a lot more than a comfortable luxury sedan; in reality, it is a massive sleeper sedan.

The ‘e-SC’ part of its name stands for ‘e-supercharged,’ and it certainly makes a difference compared to the less-powerful G90 grades. As standard, the G90 is equipped with a 3.5-liter bi-turbocharged V6 good for 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, with power being sent to all four wheels. The e-SC Prestige Black, though, flaunts the same V6, transmission, and AWD, but it is mated with a 48-volt electric supercharger that ups output to 409 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque.

The G90 e-SC Prestige Black tips the scales at around 5,194 pounds and measures in at 207 inches (L) x 58.7 inches (W) and rides on a 125.2-inch wheelbase, but despite that, it can hit 60 mph in around 4.5 seconds and reach top speeds of 155 mph (limited). You also get Genesis’s Adaptive Control Suspension, which boasts air shocks and predictive ride control, so you get comfort on the highway and tight in the corners.

2026 Audi RS e-tron GT

Boasting a starting price of just over $170,000, the 2026 Audi RS e-tron GT is equal parts RS guts and electric supercar tech. At its most potent (RS e-tron GT Performance), motivation comes from two permanent-magnet synchronous motors powered by a 105 kWh lithium-ion battery. Combined horsepower is 912 horsepower, and torque is wound to the tune of 885 pound-feet, with all power being sent via Quattro AWD to all four wheels. Simply, this translates to insanely fast rest-to-60 times of 2.4 seconds (with Launch Control).

Handling is taken care of by Quattro AWD, e-torque Vectoring Plus, electronically-controlled adaptive air suspension, optional rear-wheel steering, and the lowest ride height of 4.9 inches. The exterior looks rapid at a standstill thanks to RS-specific bumpers, massive air intakes that feed the brakes, a rear diffuser, an active rear spoiler, side air ducts, 21-inch alloys, and a low carbon fiber hood roof. In short, it looks the part, acts the part, and is much, much cheaper than some supercars with slower 0–60 mph times (think the $272,000 Ferrari 458 Italia that can hit 60 mph in three seconds, and the admittedly older $4,000,000 Ferrari F50 that can reach speeds in 3.8 seconds).

Inside, the Audi e-tron GT is a grand tourer in nature. It boasts a luxury cabin trimmed in Nappa leather; you get sport seats with massage functions, a HUD, a 12.3-inch HD touchscreen to take care of your tech needs, and a standard-fit Bang & Olufsen sound system provides the music. Legroom is comfortable in the front, at 41.9 inches, though rear seating is a little cramped at 32.2 inches, and you can fit 9.2 cubic feet of stuff in the trunk.

The Audi RS e-tron GT boasts stunning looks inside and out; it is built to be driven at speed in a straight line and through the corners; it is a lot cheaper than some of the more supercar-only models out there, and, all in all, it can be driven comfortably every day and when you want to go aggressively.
