Michelin-starred chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s first residential development in Miami made headlines last fall, when we took a glimpse at the glitzy 49-story tower to be known as the Miami Tropic Residences. A recent announcement of an on-site partnership between its developer Terra and the Well, however, came with a greater unveiling of the building’s oasis-like wellness destination that key holders will be able to access by 2028.
The serene space, dubbed the Well Club, stretches across the seventh floor of the Arquitectonica-designed building. Green marble floors, arresting tilework, and polished displays with a tiki flair give its interiors by Yabu Pushelberg a monochromatic feel that grounds you in the present. The Club, meant to aid in restoration and connection, features two private treatment rooms plus an infrared sauna, steam room, hot tub, and a cold plunge, too.

Residents will be able to book services, group classes, and personal training sessions from the comfort of their homes. Two signature offerings will include the Community Bath House Circuit, a guided social journey where guests practice breathwork techniques to reduce stress while traversing hot and cold therapies, as well as an Earthing Meditation, a grounding ritual held in what marketing materials describe as the “healing garden.”

Outside of the Club’s array of spa experiences, its fitness studio provides dedicated areas for cardio and weight training. The yoga and barre studio with floor-to-ceiling windows, meanwhile, opens to a training terrace and the squash courts as well. This health-centric amenity also encourages eating right. A curated selection of holistic, food-forward experiences and programming, created in collaboration with Jean-Georges, rounds out the offerings with an emphasis on local, seasonal, and organic foods.

“At the Well, we believe that food is medicine,” shares Rebecca Parekh, co-founder and CEO of the Well, in a statement. “From nourishing the body to uplifting the mind and connecting us to one another, it’s foundational to our well-being. Together with Terra, we’re proud to create a home where wellness and nourishment are seamlessly woven into daily living. Our mission has always been to help people make wellness part of their every day.”
Jean-Georges Miami Tropic Residences is expected to be completed in 2028 with 329 condos, 27,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, and, naturally, a strong focus on gastronomic experiences. Overall, the tower will include 41,000 square feet of amenities, ranging from a resort-style pool to an outdoor theater. Pricing starts at $914,000 for one-bedroom apartments and climbs to about $4.1 million for four-bedroom abodes. Visit the project’s website or contact info@miamitropic.com for more information.
