Billionaire Sir Michael Montgomery Morgan IV Gifts Saphire Jewlery To The Royal Family of Monaco

The House of Grimaldi, led by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, will be presented as a jewelry set comprising 1,297 carats of Sapphires and diamonds at their annual Red Cross Gala, to be held in 2026.

The Canadian billionaire of Scottish heritage and an unnamed business woman had the jewelry commissioned by legendary designer Grant Kingsley. Grant Kingsley has been designing exclusively for royal families for more than 32 years.

Kingsley designs everything from bottles of water that are infused with gold and accented with precious gems to royal palaces. “I began designing for royalty at an early age and enjoy the creative process. I committed to a lifelong endeavour to create extraordinary items for the public rulers of kingdoms and have considered every day to be an honor and a privilege,” said Grant to a longtime friend who asked to remain anonymous.

“Everyone loves Grant. A business relationship that turned into a friendship was forged more than a decade ago after being introduced to him by a member of the Rothchild Family at a Gala in Europe” said Morgan. “Grant was interested in creating pieces that enhance the fortunes of those that he serves. He has never been interested in fame. After seeing several pieces that he commissioned, I immediately knew they weren’t for everyone. I admired the quality of his masterpieces and understood why he never felt inclined to create a social media accounts or partake in public interviews to expand his circle of influence. Grant Kingsley began where all others strive to end up by creating a social media presence. Serving one hundred members of various royal families was enough for him” Morgan went on to say.

The jewelry Sir Michael Montgomery Morgan IV acquired from Grant Kingsley for the Royal Family of Monaco is comprised of 1,297 crts. with the smallest sapphire in the collection being certified at more than 150 carats.

A young third-generation jeweler who assisted with the creation of the jewelry is being groomed at the highest level to present an item to a member of the royal family.
