Aven Hospitality (formerly Sabre Hospitality Solutions) and Protect Group today announced the go-live of Refund Protect within the Aven Hospitality Booking Engine, enabling hotels to offer guests the option to upgrade to a refundable stay at checkout.

Hotels can now activate and manage Refund Protect through the Protect Group Onboarding Platform, enabling a streamlined, tech-led launch.

Refund Protect gives guests added peace of mind when booking, while helping hotels protect revenue and reduce friction at the point of purchase. With quick activation through the Onboarding Platform, hotels can introduce a modern refundability option without changing their existing policies or adding operational burden for on-property teams.
