Gen V, a spinoff series from the Prime Video hit The Boys, is back with Season 2. When will new episodes from the explicit superhuman series be released?
“The new season of Gen V kicked off on Wednesday with Episodes 1, 2 and 3. The official summary for Gen V Season 2 reads, “School is back in session. As the rest of America adjusts to Homelander’s iron fist, back at Godolkin University, the mysterious new Dean (Hamish Linklater) preaches a curriculum that promises to make students more powerful than ever.
“Cate (Maddie Phillips) and Sam (Asa German) are celebrated heroes, while Marie (Jaz Sinclair), Jordan (London Thor) and Emma (Lizzie Broadway) reluctantly return to college, burdened by months of trauma and loss. But parties and classes are hard to care about with war brewing between Humans and Supes, both on and off campus. The gang learns of a secret program that goes back to the founding of Godolkin University that may have larger implications than they realize. And, somehow, Marie is a part of it.”

Jaz Sinclair Says Marie Still Feels ‘Othered’ In Gen V Season 2
Apart from the crazy action and hardcore violence in Gen V in Season 2, there’s still plenty of character development going on, too.
That, of course, includes examining the mindset of Jaz Sinclair’s pivotal character Marie, who told The Direct in a recent interview that despite feeling more acceptance for his superhuman abilities, she still feels “othered.”
Marie has spent so much time alone and has had such an othered experience growing up in Red River and everything, and I think coming to Godolkin and falling in love with Jordan and becoming friends with Emma, it makes her feel like a normal person and a normal kid for the first time ever, and that’s really important to her,” Sinclair explained to The Direct. “So the more that people are telling her you’re different, you’re different, you’re different, it makes her feel othered, and that kind of freaks her out.”
Created by Evan Goldberg, Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen, Gen V Season 2 begins with Episodes 1, 2 and 3 on Prime Video.
