Elizabeth Hurley and son Damian Hurley attended the 2025 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards at The Roundhouse on Wednesday in London. The actress is a perpetual fan of platform heels, and her footwear choice for the award show was no exception. She reached for a pair of Dolce & Gabbana’s tallest shoe offerings.

The Keira Platform Sandal by Dolce & Gabbana is a repeatedly popular choice among celebrities for red carpet or TV appearances. The towering metallic heel is often paired with long gowns or wide-legged trousers, like Jennifer Lopez wore in silver while in New York earlier this week. Dolce & Gabbana offers the Keira line in a variety of styles, including a sleek sandal and a block heel option.
Hurley opted for the platform sandal with a stiletto heel measuring 140mm or approximately 5.5 inches. The daring shoes are crafted from a gold metallic vitello leather with a high-shine finish, and are set atop a stacked, almond-shaped platform sole measuring around 1.25 inches. The pair is finished with a gold-tone D&G logo plaque at the heel for an instantly recognizable look. The foot is held in place by a thick strap across the upper and a slim ankle strap with a gold buckle closure.
The actress, who works with stylist Mike Adler for her red carpet looks, opted for a vibrant and glitzy gown from fashion designer Zeynep Kartal. The vibrant dress was a dark pink and purple sequined halterneck gown with a plunging neckline.
The gown also featured a bold, high-left leg slit that allowed her to show off her sky-high shoes. The dress features a wrap design with delicate ruching at the waist. To match her shoes, Hurley carried a small metallic gold clutch and accessorized with gold jewelry.

Her son, a frequent red-carpet companion of the actress, kept it fun in a black-and-white look. He wore a white long-sleeve blouse that was slightly sheer and featured a plunging neckline and was decorated with ruffles at the center. He paired the top with black leather trousers and black, squared-toe boots.
While inside the event, Hurley posed with “The Honorary Gay Award,” which is given by Attitude magazine to a straight individual who has been an ally who consistently supports the LGBTQIA+ community. In addition to Hurley, recent recipients include Lulu in 2024, and Dame Shirley Bassey in 2023.
