While the Double Balancier is most commonly found in 41mm versions, a 37mm version has been available since 2018. There were (prior to this announcement) six different versions of the 37mm Double Balance Wheel Royal Oak available, many of them with frosted cases and even rainbow bezels. This is the first true tone-on-tone version we’ve seen, with a 37mm by 10mm yellow gold case, yellow gold-toned bridges, and silver-grey-toned rectangular 18k pink gold hour markers with grey hands. The movement, with its two balances providing extra mass and stability for the 4Hz beat rate, naturally feels a bit thicker, but it’s still quintessentially AP. More on the full specs below.
