Memphis Riverline Hotel today unveiled its new identity, marking an important repositioning for the downtown Memphis property and setting the stage for its next chapter as a reimagined, full-service hotel experience.
Formerly operating as Sheraton Memphis Downtown, the hotel will continue welcoming guests while operating under the Memphis Riverline Hotel name. The repositioning reflects a renewed vision for the property, with plans to introduce phased enhancements over time as details are finalized. Throughout this period, the hotel will remain open and fully operational, continuing to welcome leisure and group travelers while delivering the service and amenities guests expect.
The Memphis Riverline Hotel name and visual identity draw inspiration from the property’s connection to the nearby riverfront and downtown waterfront setting. The blue tones featured in the hotel’s logo reflect this sense of place, evoking the movement and character of the river while signaling a refreshed, contemporary direction for the property.
This transition allows us to thoughtfully reposition the property while maintaining continuity for our guests and partners. Memphis Riverline Hotel reflects both the property’s strong foundation and its future vision as we look ahead to phased enhancements and long-term growth
Bruce Lipford, general manager of Memphis Riverline Hotel

Planned improvements will be introduced in phases over time, with additional details to be shared as plans are finalized. In the interim, guests can expect uninterrupted operations and a seamless experience.
