Patek Philippe Expected To Roll Back Some U.S. Prices Following Tariff Reduction

Prices for many luxury watches rose sharply in 2025 as watchmakers grappled with a myriad of cost pressures, including tariffs, a strong Swiss franc against the U.S. dollar, and the gold price that soared to record levels above $4,500 an ounce. Other brands, including Cartier, Rolex, Omega, and Tudor, also raised prices sharply in 2025, though none as aggressively as Patek.

At the start of 2026, Rolex raised prices an average of 8% in the U.S., with smaller increases for steel models and larger hikes for gold watches. News of the Patek Philippe price cut was first reported by Kingflum and the ScrewDownCrown blog on Substack. Hodinkee confirmed the information independently.
