If you’ve ever struggled to see properly out on the water, you’re not alone. Some so-called UV-protective lenses don’t protect your eyes at all. Meanwhile, some polarized options may be quite good, but require adjusting when you need to read so much as your mobile phone. Two outdoor enthusiasts who worked in the optics industry put their heads together to create RLVNT eyewear.
Drawing upon their experience crafting specialty optics for demanding customers like the U.S. Navy, the business partners ensure control over all manufacturing aspects. In fact, everything from frames to lenses come from RLVNT headquarters in Minnesota. It has 15 different frames for men and women, too.

Learn more about RLVNT eyewear in the August 2025 Megayacht News newsletter. A subscriber-only benefit, our newsletter features stories you won’t find here on our daily website. So, for example, we introduce you to Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke, the new CEO of Oyster Yachts. We also reveal The Italian Sea Group’s plans for a successor to the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 65, the Tecnomar for Lanborghini 101. In fact, the shipyard has already laid the keel for hull number one.
Further among the stories, we share details on our new, value-driven weekly newsletter. Far too many newsletters are akin to McPaper, the derisive nickname for USA Today: short on quality information. Our weekly newsletter brings the best stories directly to your inbox, showing you instantly what you may have missed from the website. To be among the first to sign up, email our editor. She’ll personally add you to the list.
Finally, we give you inside information on articles we’re publishing soon on Megayacht News. One of them is about the settlement of a lawsuit related to the refit of the yacht Anodyne, a project halted six years ago.
Sign up for the newsletter in the box above now, and we’ll make sure you receive this month’s edition, plus every subsequent issue.
