2025 Genesis G80
Sophisticated Looks & Serious Comfort Without The Cost
Boasting a prominent front end, the very distinctive ‘G-Matrix’ crest grille, sloping rear, sharp body lines, and a badge that is very surely growing in prominence in the luxury market, the Genesis G80 is the luxury mid-sized sedan that does a huge amount of everything but doesn’t cost the world. Prices for this year’s G80 start at $57,100 for the base model and top out at $77,000 for the top trim.
There are two engine options, which are denoted by the suffix of each model: a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four good for 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, and a 3.5-liter bi-turbocharged V6 good for a healthier 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. For a new luxury car, the G80 can be seen as good value for money, even the top trim 3.5T Sport Prestige; with an output of 375 horsepower, you are only paying around $205.33 per horsepower. That is before mentioning everything included.
As standard, the 2.5T base trim comes equipped with 18-inch alloys, synthetic leather seating, ambient lighting, heated seats, a quiet riding cabin (courtesy of impressive insulation), and a new-for-Genesis 27-inch OLED instrument and dash screen.
The 2.5T Advanced adds 19-inch wheels, a Bang & Olufsen audio rig, tri-zone climate control, and ventilated seats; the 2.5T Sport Prestige brings a more athletic touch to the lineup with 20-inch alloys and wireless charging, and the 3.5T Sport Advanced not only gets you the bi-turbocharged V6, but you also get added tech in the shape of a surround view mirror and blind-spot viewing monitor, and sportier-tuned suspension.
The top-of-the-range G80 3.5T Sport Prestige gets you the most potent powertrain option, a HUD, Nappa leather, a micro-suede headliner, power door closing, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and carbon fiber trim to finish it all off.
2025 Audi A6
Clean Design, Smart Tech & Everyday Luxury That Works
Audi has long been a mainstay in the luxury German sedan market, and even with prices that can compete with the G80, you get an awful amount of interior comfort, decent powertrain options, and an executive body that is instantly recognizable as an Audi.
There are five grades to choose from and two TFSI engines to choose from. This year’s A6 is available as the 45 TFSI Premium, the 55 TFSI Premium, the 45 TFSI Premium Plus, the 55 TFSI Premium Plus, and the 55 TFSI Prestige, with starting prices ranging from $59,396 to just shy of $75,000.
You get a sleek and German-sedan-esque build, the Quattro AWD system equipped as standard across the board, an impressively powerful available turbocharged V6, and oodles of luxury trappings in the shape of a 12.3-inch digital cockpit, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, LED headlights, an available 360-degree camera, available 20-inch wheels, an available Bang & Olufsen sound system, and available massaging seats.
What makes the 2025 A6 stand out is that not only is it as plush as you might expect and not badly priced, but owners have already shown a lot of love for it. According to reviews of the 2025 Audi A6 on Kelley Blue Book, owners have rated it 4.3 out of 5, with 80% of owners recommending buying one.
2025 Lexus LS 500 / LS 500h
Quiet Power & Smooth Elegance
Upsetting some of the best luxury car brands since the late 1980s, Lexus has become a force to be reckoned with in terms of luxury models that balance reliability, available power, and an impressive dedication to the latest tech. This year’s Lexus LS 500 and LS 500h roll-outs are no different. In what is now typical Lexus fashion, the new LS 500, LS 500h, and LS 500 F SPORT all boast Takumi-master-grade attention to detail, a choice of very luxe tech, and a smooth and quiet ride.
Prices for the 2025 MY start at $80,335 for the gas-engine LS 500; $86,925 for the LS 500 F SPORT; $110,000 for the RWD LS 500h, and $115,000 for the AWD LS 500h. For the non-hybrid trims, a very potent 416-horsepower bi-turbo V6 sits under the hood, while the LS 500h is available with a 354-horsepower V6 mated to a two-motor hybrid system. Output may be less, but it can achieve an estimated combined mpg rating of 28 mpg (22 mpg city and 29 mpg on the highway) compared to the AWD LS 500’s combined mpg rating of 25 mpg.
All trims are very well-equipped, with the LS 500 boasting a sophisticated-looking cabin that can be decked out in Artwood Organic Gloss, Herringbone, or Laser Black; four-zone climate control is available; you get acoustic glass to keep things quiet in the cabin; the Lexus Safety System+ provides oodles of techy safety features; the Lexus Interface with a 12.3-inch touchscreen is included as standard; a panoramic moonroof is available, and if you add one the Luxury or Executive Package, you benefit from heated and ventilated rear seats, rear-seat massaging, and aniline leather trim.

The LS 500h gets you the slightly more economical mill, and shares a lot of the luxe features of its gas-engined counterparts, but also includes 20-inch alloy noise-reduction wheels with Vapor Chrome finish, active noise control, adaptive variable air suspension, and four-zone automatic climate control.
2025 BMW 550e xDrive
Hybrid Tech Meets Classic BMW Driving Feel
Like most luxurious car brands, BMW has poured a lot of its resources into creating classic-feeling driving machines that also embrace the new and the bold. We think that the 2025 BMW 550e xDrive does just that, thanks to its very athletic yet luxe cabin, potent plug-in hybrid motivation under the hood, its classically aggressive-looking stance, and canyon-cutting performance features.
The standout feature of this year’s 550e xDrive is its turbocharged inline-six mated to an electric motor and plug-in hybrid setup. This beast can push out 483 horsepower; it can send you to 60 mph in as little as 4.3 seconds, and gives you an estimated all-electric range of up to 34 miles to complement the estimated combined mpg rating of 27 MPGe (gas and electric rating; 24 combined mpg with gas only).
You get xDrive AWD as standard, which shores up the handling in the wet; a dedicated boost paddle lets you spank out a 10-second combined engine/motor boost, and the spacious cabin is kitted out with everything you’d expect from a luxury BMW sedan.
At the forefront of the cabin is a curved display that integrates both the digital instrument cluster and the 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen. A Harman Kardon sound rig is equipped as standard, which can be upgraded to a Bowers & Wilkins unit; wireless charging is included as standard; high-end Alcántara leather covers the seats, and 41.3 inches of front legroom, 37 inches of rear legroom, and a very generous 18 cubic feet of standard trunk space make it a useful luxury car to own.
2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing
Pure American Muscle With A Luxury Twist
It can be argued that some new luxury cars are too concerned with a serene, gentle, and tech-focused ride, and while there is nothing wrong with that, sometimes you want some real bite to your bedside-mannered luxury car. This is where the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing comes in; it is American muscle wrapped in a luxury shell. This is what makes it one of the best luxury cars for sale today.
At the center of everything is a hand-built 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8. It boasts a compression ratio of 10.1:1, a pushrod OHV setup, it kicks out 638 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, and the best bit: it is mated to a six-speed manual box as standard, with a ten-speed automatic transmission as an option. All this translates to rest-to-60 times of 3.4 seconds if you’re running the auto box and 3.6 seconds if you go for the pure manual.
The CT5-V Blackwing also boasts Brembo high-performance brakes, Magnetic Ride Control, upgraded suspension bushings, a larger front stabilizer bar, and stiffer springs than the regular CT5 models. In other words, it is high-performance blended with luxury comfort. You may be forgiven for thinking that, with so much attention paid to performance, the luxury side of things has been overlooked, but it hasn’t in the CT5-V’s case.
As standard, it showcases a 33-inch diagonal advanced LED display that runs Google Built-In, integrates your digital gauge and infotainment toys, and boasts high-res screens. You also get heated and ventilated front seats, front massaging seats, ambient lighting, a heated steering wheel, Cadillac’s Super Cruise hands-free tech, and an optional UltraView sunroof.
2025 Mercedes-AMG E53
Hybrid Sedan That’s All About Power & A Sharp Style
Boasting a sticker price of $89,150, the AMG E53 acts as the most high-tech and potent variation of the 2025 E-Class lineup. As standard, the hand-built AMG inline-six plug-in hybrid can shift out 577 horsepower, but if that wasn’t enough, the optional Race Start feature ups things to 604 horsepower. With the extra package added, the 5,104-pound E53 can hit 60 mph in as little as 3.7 seconds. So, very fast for its heavy weight.
Alongside the seat-pinning power, the hybrid system ensures you can eke out a respectable 59 MPGe, which may be less than other hybrid luxury cars in 2025, but it can be forgiven for its AMG-grade potency.
Up front, the AMG E53 is equipped with large air intakes; the whole build is streamlined with a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd; AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive is fitted as standard; the hybrid mill is mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT nine-speed automatic transmission, and AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension adjusts on the fly to give you suit what kind of driving you’re doing.
To top it all off, the AMG E53 boasts a lot of luxury features in the shape of a widescreen infotainment system with two 12.3-inch displays, Nappa leather upholstery, a premium Burmester audio system, open-pore wood trim, ambient lighting, multi-contour seats, and available augmented reality navigation. It is the whole package as new luxury cars go; you get immense performance, tons of luxury gear, and a comfortable place to pin the gas.
2025 Porsche Panamera
Sports-Car Soul With Luxury Sedan Comfort
If you are in the market for a top luxury car with racetrack DNA woven in, there are models like the new AMG models and the M Models, but this year, Porsche has rolled out all the stops to ensure that you think twice about them. The 2025 Porsche Panamera blends comfort, a very executive interior, lots of available power from both gas-only and hybrid engine options, and oodles of racing heritage for an everyday car.
There are seven grades of Porsche Panamera to choose from this year: the Panamera, the Panamera 4, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, the Panamera 4S E-Hybrid, the Panamera GTS, the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid, and the Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. All of them are very expensive, but if you’ve got the wallet for it, it offers a lot of everything you could ask for from a luxury car.
At base level, the Panamera boasts a 2.9-liter bi-turbocharged V6 good for 348 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque; the Panamera GTS trumps these numbers with a 493-horsepower/486-pound-foot 4.0-liter bi-turbocharged V8, but the pinnacle of luxury hybrid performance potential comes from the Turbo E-Hybrid trims. These luxury beasts come equipped with a 771-horsepower/737-pound-foot 4.0-liter bi-turbocharged V8 mated with a 140 kW electric motor, which is good for 187 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque on its own.
In terms of luxury fittings, the Panamera lineup is not left wanting, with multi-level heated seats with 14-way power adjustments, dual-zone climate control, wireless smartphone charging, a 14-speaker Bose surround sound rig, a 10.9-inch Porsche Communication Management (PCM) touchscreen, and a 12.6-inch curved digital gauge cluster all included as standard.
2025 Mercedes-Benz S 580 4MATIC
Effortless Luxury And Cutting-Edge Tech In One Smooth Ride
Combining comfort, performance potential, technology, and sultry looks has become a bit of a specialty for Mercedes-Benz, and one of the pinnacle models of the new S-Class range proves it. What was already an expensive, powerful, and eye-catching luxury sedan in the shape of the entry-level S-Class (S 500) has had both its MSRP of just south of $120,000 and base-level output of 442 horsepower upped to $130,000 and 496 horsepower, respectively.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz S 580 4MATIC may not have the performance prowess of an AMG, but with a bi-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 under the hood that shifts out just shy of 500 horsepower, we think that it is more than acceptable for everyday use. 0–60 mph times are clocked at 4.3 seconds, and 4MATIC AWD and optional E-Active Body Control are equipped, all of which make the Mercedes-Benz S 580 4MATIC one of the best luxury cars if you want both comfort and performance potential.
Comfort comes in the shape of 12-way power-adjustable front seats, optional multi-contour front seats, high-quality leather around the cabin, a 64-color LED ambient lighting setup, dual-zone climate control, an available panoramic sunroof, and an optional 13-speaker Burmester sound system. Thanks to its long and large dimensions of 208.2 inches (L) x 76.9 inches (W) x 59.2 inches (H), you and your rear-seat passengers also get a touch of everyday usability and room to move around in.
The S 580 4MATIC also comes equipped with a good number of safety features that make it a very powerful, very comfortable, and very family-friendly model. As standard, it boasts Blind Spot Assistant, Active Brake Assist, Active Parking Assist, and a 360-degree camera.
2025 Mercedes-Maybach S 680 4MATIC
Ultimate Comfort Meets Handcrafted Elegance
While the S 580 4MATIC is undoubtedly one of the best luxury cars of the new S-Class lineup, there is then the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach S 680, a huge full-sized luxury sedan that boasts a whole new level of opulence. The price does rise to an eye-watering starting point of roughly $240,000, but if you’ve got it to spend, then the Maybach S 680 is on similar levels to the Rolls-Royce Ghost and the Bentley Flying Spur.
To start with, a 612-horsepower/665-pound-foot bi-turbocharged V12 is featured, which can get the 5,346-pound Maybach S 680 to speed in as little as 4.5 seconds. Some going for something of its weight and size, while all the power is sent through a nine-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission to all four wheels via the 4MATIC setup, delivering an impressively snappy response.
At first glance, you know that the Maybach means luxe business, thanks to the bespoke grille, unique 20-inch many-spoked wheels, distinctive two-tone paint, low and long grand stance, and chrome around the B-pillars and windows. Inside, it is even more opulent and comfort-inspiring.
The Maybach S 680 is a lot larger than its less luxurious-in-comparison S 580 4MATIC counterpart, with a length of 215 inches and a width of 83 inches (with mirrors). Not only does this make it look a lot more imposing on the road, but it also opens up room inside. Front legroom is slightly less compared to the S 580 4MATIC at 39.4 inches, but whoever you are chauffeuring around in the back will be very happy with 49.1 inches of legroom and cushioned leather seats with massage functions.
2025 Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE
Electrified Muscle That Still Feels Like An AMG
Combining epic on-road athletic prowess, an animal of a plug-in hybrid V8 under the hood, an aggressive exterior design, oodles of tech features, serious luxury and comfort in the cabin, and a German partnership badge that earns all sorts of respect on the road, the 2025 Mercedes-AMG S 63 E PERFORMANCE is the top of the top of luxury cars in 2025.
You get raw AMG power blended with forward-thinking tech and S-Class comfort in a luxury sedan that is as good at caning it up the twisties as it is at cruising down the highway. What else could you ask for? Under the hood sits a bi-turbocharged V8 paired with a 140 kW electric motor, which combined kicks out 791 horsepower and a mind-bending 1,055 pound-feet of torque; this translates to 0–60 mph times of 3.3 seconds.
The plug-in hybrid system that the engine is mated to gives you a short electric driving range, which means, for a little while, you can cruise around the city without using gas, while the featured AMG Performance 4MATIC+ AWD rig and AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT nine-speed automatic transmission take care of the more raucous side of luxury car ownership.
While the S-Class may be the flagship model for Mercedes-Benz, the AMG 63 E PERFORMANCE is the flagship luxury sedan for AMG, and it is as luxurious as you’d expect from a high-end Mercedes inside, but with the much-coveted AMG touch.
AMG Nappa leather upholstery, a 12.8-inch vertically mounted infotainment setup running MBUX, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, ambient lighting, customizable seat options, and lots of driver assistance features, such as Active Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Lane Change Assist, a blind spot monitor, and Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC (adaptive cruise control) all make up the build of this awesome luxury sedan.
