Meet the new superyacht igniting interest among cruisers who want more choices.
Custom Line Saetta 128’ is the new made-to-measure prototype of Custom Line’s Saetta line. “Saetta” is the new name for all of the brand’s planing yachts. With a dynamic, sporty profile, it is currently under construction at the Superyacht Yard in Ancona. Launch and delivery will be this year.
With an overall length of 39.80 m and a maximum beam of 7.69 m, Custom Line Saetta 128’ falls under 300 GT. The three-deck layout enhances life onboard, with constant continuity between interior and exterior spaces. The project stems from a collaboration between the Product Strategy Department, headed by Eng. Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. Together, they bring strong expertise in design, engineering, and knowledge of state-of-the-art materials, with the aim of ensuring high performance and safety at sea.
The exterior design bears the signature of SY Design, while the interiors are designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, supported by the strategic consultancy of the Custom Line Atelier.
Among the most distinctive elements is the upper-deck concept. It features a sky lounge with an additional enclosed lounge of approximately 20 square meters. On the same level as the wheelhouse, they overlook an aft terrace totaling 40 square meters. This fully customizable area has partial shade from the sundeck superstructure, ensuring comfort and protection without sacrificing panoramic views. The sky lounge’s opening glazed surfaces on three sides enhance the perception of spaciousness and strengthen the dialogue between sky and sea. Forward on the upper deck, a 25-square-meter area hosts a large U-shaped sofa with integrated storage and a sunbathing area. If desired, you can transform this into a wellness space with a whirlpool.
Both directly above and below the upper deck, the Custom Line Saetta 128’ maximizes alfresco comfort and conviviality, too. The 30-square-meter sundeck is entirely for open-air relaxation and fully customizable. Regardless of your choices, it ensures privacy and a privileged viewpoint over the sea throughout the day. The main deck’s 33-square-meter cockpit, meanwhile, integrates a structural sofa aft. Just below, a multifunctional area can accommodate two watertoys and transform into a beach area at water level.
The main salon, spanning 40 square meters, integrates the dining area within a bright and refined environment. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows emphasize visual continuity with the exterior. The spatial layout provides a clear separation between convivial and private areas. For instance, access to the galley is via the pantry on the port side, while on the starboard side a lobby leads to the sleeping area and the owner’s suite.
The 37-square-meter owner’s suite stands out for its advanced layout, featuring a centrally positioned bed, a dressing area aft, and two bathrooms connected by an extra-large central shower. Completing the layout, the yacht offers four additional cabins on the lower deck—three VIP and one twin—for a total of 10 guests. Six crewmembers, including the captain, have separate cabins below decks as well.
The interiors express themselves through two distinct moods, namely Perfect Mood and Classic Mood. Each has its own personality and material research: the former richer and more sophisticated, the latter more essential and balanced. The concept develops in direct continuity with the yacht’s exterior profile—a sleek, dynamic line that expresses energy and character—and translates into the interiors through furnishings with soft geometries and suspended solutions. This guiding feature runs through bespoke elements, boiserie, and ceilings, while on the exterior the raked stern and the large silk-screened glazed surfaces of the salons emphasize lightness, dynamism, and a constant connection with the sea, resulting in a harmonious whole.
From a propulsion standpoint, Custom Line Saetta 128’ relies upon two 2,638-mhp MTU engines, enabling a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. At an economical cruising speed of 11 knots, the yacht achieves 1,000 nautical miles (preliminary data). Trim tabs and stabilizer fins support comfort while underway, with the option to install gyroscopic stabilizers. Upon request, the yacht can be IMO Tier III certified through the adoption of an SCR system for NOx emission reduction.
