This $73 Million Florida Mansion Comes With Two Pools and a Theater

An award-winning home in Palm Beach that recently underwent a full-scale renovation is now hitting the market as a lighter, more modern abode.

The oceanfront property, built in 2010, hews to British Colonial design, with columns anchoring the front and back of the residence, verandas wrapping all the way around, and a central two-story atrium that lets in fresh air. While it won the Elizabeth L. and John H. Schuler Award for outstanding new architecture when it debuted, it was in need of some TLC to brighten up the rooms and make it turnkey for 2025. Nick Malinosky of the Exclusive Group at Douglas Elliman holds the $73 million listing—a drop from the previous price of $83.5 million.

On the ground level, the formal living room has been zhuzhed up with a herringbone-tiled fireplace. A former bedroom, meanwhile, was turned into a more casual family room off the neutral-toned kitchen. The dining room looks out on the Atlantic, while a stately office includes a wet bar for entertaining clients or friends.

Upstairs, the primary suite spills open to a deck overlooking the ocean. There are dual bathrooms and closets, so you don’t need to worry about sharing space with anyone. In total, the 14,321-square-foot abode encompasses seven bedrooms and 11 baths.

The lower level, set up like a private club, is where you’ll find all the additional amenities. A wood-paneled billiards lounge satisfies the pool sharks among us. If you’d rather kick back and relax, the home theater is outfitted with oversize cinema chairs. A wine-tasting room is equipped with plenty of storage for your bottle collection, and the gym is accompanied by a spa/massage suite for post-workout winddowns. With 168 feet of direct ocean frontage, you could easily venture out for a swim, but the property also sports two resort-style pools: one sits among the grassy lawn on the beachfront, the other is a more private retreat next to the guest suite.

Whoever snaps up the modern Florida estate will be in good company among other multimillion-dollar homeowners, with this area of Palm Beach attracting the UHNW set. Earlier this summer, a similarly luxe mansion with both indoor and outdoor pools hit the market for $65 million. And prior to that, a $200 million lot on the same stretch came up for sale, allowing you to custom-build the home of your dreams.
