With shipyard work having recently started on the first Lazzara UHV 160 yacht, the owner is ready to mark each upcoming construction milestone. Along the way, the owner will finalize some still-pending details for the interior.
The contract signing for the model, initially the Lazzara UHV 150, took place in late 2024. The final LOA grew to 160 feet (almost 49 meters) to accommodate more ways to enjoy time with family and friends. Despite that adjustment, the basic premise didn’t change. “UHV” stands for “Ultra High Volume,” emphasizing strong usage of space. Interior space is especially a priority, to lends owners and their guests the feeling of being aboard something far larger. The Lazzara UHV 160 yacht’s volume is just shy of 500 gross tons.
Further unchanged, the megayacht brings together an international group of designers who never previously collaborated with Lazzara Yachts. Specifically, the Dutch studio Mulder Design is handling naval architecture, with engineering from U.S.-based Euro Marine Group. Styling from Lazzara Yachts’ own team envelops this, echoing the lines of the smaller UHV projects. (The rest of the range includes a 90, 100, and 125.) Even with the family identity, though, the Lazzara UHV 160 yacht looks stand apart. Especially prominent, swaths of glass fit within curves on the uppermost two decks of the four-decker.

The owner and family are working with H2 Yacht Design for the interiors. The owner has a private deck, for instance, as a quiet retreat. It occupies the full 30-foot (9.7-meter) beam, too. According to Lazzara, the feeling here and throughout the superyacht should rival that of projects to about 190 feet (58 meters).
The owner and 10 guests might be most looking forward to stepping into the beach area when delivery occurs, however. Entirely alfresco, it has fold-down platforms to each side of fixed seating areas. Unfolding across three levels, the beach area also includes a glass-fronted hot tub. A cleverly concealed transformer platform can deploy when needed as well, creating more usable on-the-water space. Lazzara and its design partners intend the beach area to be the most capacious one in this size range of superyachts.

Finally, the Lazzara UHV 160 yacht provides the full cruising party with generous alfresco space on the flying bridge. The likely arrangement will see an alfresco dining area and a sunning area. Between the two, a gym/yoga room is enclosed.
Featuring all-composite construction and a fast-displacement hull, the yacht will rely on MAN engines and pod drives. She should top out around 15 knots upon delivery in mid-2028, handled by a crew of 10.
