Yacht Jassi Splashes in the Snow

Warm-weather destinations are surely in the future plans for the yacht Jassi. When they come, they’ll be a strong contrast to the conditions on her launch day. On February 6, snow covered some of the superyacht’s decks, as well as the floating dock from which tugs towed her out.

With her technical launch occurring in 2023 at Lürssen, the yacht has been going by the code name JassJ for the past few years. In fact, the first official word about the project came in September 2021, when Moran Yacht & Ship revealed its representation of the owners. The Florida-based firm has been heavily involved in the yacht’s development. Its team wrote her technical specifications, for instance, plus planned out the A/V, IT, and security systems. Additionally, Moran Yacht & Ship handled negotiations for the interior, primary tenders, and watertoys.

Staying well under wraps since her technical launch, the 336-foot (102-meter) yacht Jassi is finally revealing some of her styling highlights. A soft grey calls attention to her hull and topsides, for example. A long foredeck—which incorporates a helipad—and flared bow lead the eyes forward. Her lines are from the British design studio RWD. The studio is further collaborating with the owners for interior design.

Initially, with the news of the contract signing, Moran Yacht & Ship revealed a party of 20 would enjoy her decks. Subsequently, the head count has risen to 22, who have 11 staterooms. Specifics on lounges, observation areas, and more remain confidential, though.

More details should become available in the coming months.
